Citrus Park is one of the best urban communities to live in Hillsborough County. It is located in northwestern Hillsborough County and bordered by Town 'N' Country to the South, Keystone to the North, Carrollwood to the East, and WestChase to the West.

The Citrus Park community began as an agricultural community connected to the rest of Tampa Bay by only railroads and dirt roads. In 1999, Westfield Citrus Park Mall opened which marked the beginning of the communities exponential growth.
